Parasols always require a parasol base. Wind up parasols require a base which can be bought separately. We recommend a 16kg base for the 2.5m wind up parasol and a 32kg base for the 3.0m wind up parasol. All of the Kettler free arm parasols come with a base which need to be filled with sand and topped up with water. They are designed in pieces so filling or moving is easier. Parasols should be taken down when not in use and not used in windy conditions. Canopies are not suitable for dry clean or machine washable and should be sponge cleaned only.
