The synthetic wicker is weatherproof and can be left outdoors all year round (excluding cushions). It can be cleaned with warm soapy water or using the complete wicker care set sold on the Kettler website. Remove dust regularly with a clean soft brush and wipe down with a clean damp cloth. Use pads, mats and coasters under plates, glasses cups etc to protect them from scratches, spills, stains and heat damage. Wipe spills immediately to prevent staining. Tree sap and bird droppings should be cleaned off immediately. Protective covers are also available for most items.

Tree sap and bird droppings should be cleaned off immediately. Take care if using near a barbecue. Charcoal sparks could cause melting. Do not leave hot BBQ tools or other hot items directly on the table. Some styles of glassware can act as a magnifying glass in strong sunlight and will cause damage. Always use a coaster under glasses. During extreme heat or humidity polywood may display signs of slight warping. This is normal and will disappear once the temperature has cooled.
