Warranty Terms and Conditions

Kettler GB Ltd – Manufacturing Warranty Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2025

1. Warranty Coverage

Subject to the terms and conditions set out herein, Kettler GB Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) warrants to the original purchaser of our outdoor furniture (the “Product”) that the Product will be free from defects in manufacturing workmanship and materials, under normal domestic use, from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”).

This is a manufacturing warranty only. It does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper assembly, failure to follow care and maintenance as described in the accompanying user‑guide/care‑and‑maintenance instructions, or damage caused by extreme weather, accident, or deliberate misuse.

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law; nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects those rights.

2. Warranty Eligibility & Duration

The Warranty commences on the date of purchase shown on the original proof of purchase invoice.

The Warranty is available only to the original purchaser and applies only when the Product is used in a domestic environment in the United Kingdom (unless otherwise agreed in writing by us).

The warranty is non‑transferable. Should the Product be resold, gifted or otherwise change ownership, the Warranty terminates automatically.

In the event that we repair or replace a Product (or part thereof) at our discretion under this warranty, the Warranty Period does not restart or extend in respect of that Product or replacement part. The original purchase date remains the commencement date.

Any replacement Product or part provided under the Warranty is subject to these same Terms & Conditions.

3. What We Will Do

At our discretion we will either repair the defective Product (or defective part) or replace it with a Product of equal or similar specification.

In certain circumstances and entirely at our discretion we may instead offer a damage allowance (i.e., a financial settlement) in lieu of repair or replacement, particularly where the defect is primarily cosmetic and does not affect structural integrity or safe use of the Product.

We will not be liable under this warranty for any costs incurred by you for removal, re‑installation, transportation, or any ancillary costs unless we have expressly agreed in writing to bear these costs.

4. Warranty Registration & Claim Procedure

To activate this Manufacturing Warranty you must register your Product by sending an email to sales@kettler.co.uk with your name, contact details, product name/model, purchase date, proof of purchase, and delivery address.

Registration should be completed within 30 days of purchase. Failure to register may render you ineligible for benefits under this warranty.

If you believe the Product is defective during the Warranty Period, contact us at sales@kettler.co.uk and provide photographic evidence as requested.

You must respond to any communications from us within 30 days. Failure to do so may result in your claim being terminated.

5. Care, Maintenance & Storage Obligations

You must maintain, clean and care for the Product in accordance with the care & maintenance instructions. Failure to do so may invalidate the Warranty.

For fabric components (cushions, covers, upholstery etc), protect these items from prolonged exposure to sunlight, severe weather, or moisture, and ensure they are stored correctly.

Failure to protect, maintain or store fabric items as required can and will invalidate any warranty claims.

The Warranty does not cover defects arising from improper installation, assembly, or modification.

6. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Normal wear and tear, cosmetic imperfections, or damage from misuse, accident, or weather conditions.

Damage due to failure to follow care instructions or exposure to unsuitable environments.

Products used in commercial or rental settings, or sold as ex‑display or clearance items.

7. Refunds

Any request for a refund must be directed to the retailer from whom you purchased the Product. This Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to repair, replacement or damage allowance as described above.

Except as required by law, we shall have no further liability for any indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Transfer, Assignment & Amendment

This Warranty may not be transferred or assigned without our prior written consent.

We may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time; the version in effect at the time of purchase applies.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Interpretation

‘Product’ means the Kettler GB Ltd furniture item(s) purchased.

‘Warranty Period’ means the time from the date of purchase until expiry of the period specified for that Product.

‘Original purchaser’ means the first buyer from an authorised UK retailer or from us directly.

By purchasing and using the Product, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Manufacturing Warranty Terms & Conditions and agree to abide by them.
